After nearly eight years since the release of TESTING, A$AP Rocky made his long-awaited return to the Bay Area with a performance that felt more like an immersive production than a standard rap concert. On June 25, 2026, Chase Center was transformed into the scene of an active manhunt. Before Rocky ever appeared, helicopter visuals circled the arena screens while actors portraying police officers searched the venue with flashlights, building suspense as if the audience had been dropped into the middle of a citywide pursuit. The concept was creative, cinematic, and unlike anything most fans had experienced at a hip-hop show.
When the search finally came to an end, Rocky didn’t emerge from the main stage. Instead, he appeared from the lower level of the arena and immediately threw himself into the floor crowd, igniting the first mosh pit before launching into an explosive opening stretch that included “Grim Freestyle,” “HIGHJACK,” and “HELICOPTER.” The energy never let up as he seamlessly mixed new material from Don’t Be Dumb with fan favorites like “A$AP Forever,” “Praise the Lord (Da Shine),” “F**kin’ Problems,” “L$D,” and “Fashion Killa.” Throughout the night, the show’s storyline continued with sweeping searchlights and helicopter imagery, making the production feel like one continuous performance rather than a collection of songs.
What stood out most wasn’t just the setlist—it was Rocky’s stage presence. He commanded the arena with confidence while remaining connected to the crowd, frequently feeding off the energy of the fans packed onto the floor. The newer songs felt right at home alongside classics from across his catalog, proving that his long-awaited return wasn’t built on nostalgia alone. Every transition felt intentional, keeping the audience engaged from the opening moments to the final stretch.
Rocky closed the evening with “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2,” bringing one last surge of energy that had the entire arena shouting every lyric back at him. It was the perfect ending to a show built around suspense, spectacle, and controlled chaos. After years of anticipation, A$AP Rocky delivered more than a concert at Chase Center—he delivered an experience that reminded fans why his live performances continue to stand apart.
