The Bob Moses and Cannons show at the Coca-Cola Roxy was a solid night that flowed well from start to finish. The crowd was steady and engaged early on, and the pairing of these two artists made sense right away.

Cannons opened with a chill, dreamy stage set that was easy to get into. Michelle Joy’s vocals sounded just like the recordings, soft and clean, with songs like “Fire for You” and “Hurricane” getting a strong reaction from the crowd. Cannons gave the crowd tracks from their new album, Everything Glows, to some of their first released tracks from Up All Night. People were swaying, singing along, and settling into the Cannons groove. There were vibes all around that everyone could feel.

Bob Moses came on and slowly built the energy up. Their set felt more full and layered, mixing live vocals, instruments, and electronic beats. Tracks like “Tearing Me Up” and “Love Brand New” hit harder live, especially as they extended parts of the songs and let the beats ride out. The duo upped their performance by including a bassist and drummer to compliment their live beat and vocals, elevating their overall set. By the middle the crowd was fully locked in and moving.

The lighting and production stayed on brand to each song, matching its energy for both Cannons and Bob Moses, to match with the music, especially during the bigger drops. It was more about the music and the atmosphere than big production moments.

It was just a fantastic show in Atlanta, starting relaxed and building into something more energetic without ever feeling chaotic. Both acts did exactly what they needed to do, and together it made for an easy, enjoyable night.
