Kasbo brought a sold-out crowd to the rooftop of The Eastern for a three-hour set that felt more like a listening party than a traditional show.
He took the stage right at the peak of golden hour, with the sun setting over Atlanta behind him. The rooftop is already a smaller space, but with everyone packed in and completely into the music.
For three hours, Kasbo bounced between his own tracks, mixing popular songs into the set and creating music on the spot. The crowd was just as involved in everything else by dancing, jumping and moving with every build and beat. Kasbo fed right back into that energy, and by the end it felt like the crowd and the set were synced up.
At one point, he invited fans to come up on stage and dance with him, which they immediately took him up on. It only added to how casual and connected the entire show felt.
By the end of the night Kasbo was completely soaked in sweat, joking to the crowd, “I’ve never had so much fun being so sweaty.” Somehow, that pretty much sums up the night: nonstop dancing, jumping, and just having an all around fantastic time.
Even after playing for three hours, Kasbo stuck around afterward to take pictures, meet fans and say hello. It was the kind of sold-out show that still managed to feel like a house party with friends, and Kasbo giving just as much energy back to the crowd as they gave to him until the very end.
