On a brisk San Francisco evening, global superstar Shakira transformed Oracle Park into a pulsating celebration of music, dance, and empowerment with her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour.” The stadium, usually home to the SF Giants, was packed to the brim—every seat a testament to Shakira’s enduring appeal and star power.
Unlike many major concerts, Shakira opted to forgo an opening act. Instead, fans were treated to a visual feast as her iconic music videos played on the massive screen above the stage, building anticipation and setting the mood for the night ahead. The chilly Bay Area weather—already dipping below 65 degrees by 6 p.m.—did little to dampen spirits. Fans arrived dressed to impress, braving the cold with style and warming up with delicious bacon-wrapped hotdogs from local vendors just outside the stadium.
At 8:50 p.m., the stadium erupted as the opening notes of “La Fuerte” filled the air. In a dramatic twist, Shakira made her entrance not from backstage, but from the side of the stadium, emerging where MLB players typically take the field. She wove through the crowd, exchanging high-fives and electrifying the atmosphere as fans surged to catch a glimpse of her up close.
Clad in sparkling white suit and black shades, Shakira commanded the stage with effortless charisma. The moment she removed her sunglasses, the energy in Oracle Park reached a fever pitch.
Shakira’s performance was a masterclass in showmanship. She seamlessly blended her signature dance moves—including some playful robotic steps—into each song. After a rousing opener, she tossed aside her jacket, flashed a peace sign, and launched into “Girl Like Me,” joined by a troupe of dynamic dancers.
The visual production was nothing short of spectacular. Each song featured its own unique color scheme, with Shakira donning a series of dazzling outfits to match. During “Las De La Intuición,” the stage came alive as Shakira and her dancers wielded glowing light sticks, creating a mesmerizing display that had the crowd in awe.
The night was packed with highlights, but a few moments stood out. The stadium shook with excitement during “TQG,” Shakira’s chart-topping collaboration with Karol G. Yet it was the performance of her iconic hit “Hips Don’t Lie” that truly brought the house down. Watching Shakira move with the same energy and precision that made her a superstar decades ago, it was clear—age is just a number for this powerhouse performer.
From beloved classics to fresh tracks, Shakira’s setlist was a journey through her illustrious career. The crowd danced and sang along from start to finish, swept up in a wave of nostalgia and celebration. By the end of the night, it was obvious why this show was a complete sell-out—Shakira’s artistry, passion, and connection with her fans remain unmatched.
Shakira proved once again why she’s a global icon, delivering a night of unforgettable music and electrifying energy. As the final notes faded and fans reluctantly made their way out into the chilly San Francisco night, one thing was certain: Shakira’s legacy is as vibrant as ever, and the world eagerly awaits her next move.
