Disturbed brought their massive energy to Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center on May 9th as part of their “The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour,” celebrating the album that really put them on the map. Their intense blend of heavy riffs and David Draiman’s unmistakable voice has kept them at the top of the metal world for over two decades. What made the night even more unforgettable was when David Draiman surprised everyone by proposing to his girlfriend, Sarah Uli, right on stage before playing “The Light.” She tearfully said yes, making it a truly emotional moment for fans lucky enough to witness it.
Opening the night was Daughtry, who brought their own brand of rock with Chris Daughtry’s powerful vocals leading the way. Known for their melodic yet hard-hitting sound, Daughtry has been a staple in rock since bursting onto the scene after American Idol. Their performance perfectly warmed up the crowd, setting the stage for Disturbed’s epic show. Both bands showed why they’ve built such loyal fanbases, blending passion, skill, and memorable moments into an incredible night of music.
