I had the chance to catch Denzel Curry’s Mischievous South Tour stop at Sacramento’s brand new Channel 24-a venue still buzzing with that “just opened” energy. With a 2,150-person capacity and excellent sightlines, Channel 24 felt like the ideal spot for Curry’s intense, high-octane set. The crowd was locked in from the jump, feeding off Curry’s commanding stage presence and the venue’s intimate vibe.

Curry’s setlist was a powerful trip through his catalog, from the raw energy of his early work to the polished bangers off TA13OO, ZUU, and Melt My Eyez See Your Future. The audience was right there with him, hanging on every lyric and beat drop. Kenny Mason opened the night, setting the tone and keeping the energy high. By the end of the show, fans were buzzing about both Curry’s performance and Channel 24’s promise as a new home for live music in Sacramento.
