Role Model and Debbii Dawson recently brought their unique vibes to The Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ, treating fans to an unforgettable night of music.

Role Model, aka Tucker Pillsbury, has been making waves in the indie-pop scene. He started out as a rapper but switched to singing in 2017 with his EP Arizona in the Summer. This caught the attention of Mac Miller, leading to a deal with Interscope Records. Known for his thoughtful lyrics and emotional sound, Role Model has released two studio albums: Rx (2022) and Kansas Anymore (2024). He’s become a go-to storyteller in modern pop.

Debbii Dawson was the perfect support act, blending pop, folk, and country with influences from her Indian heritage. A first gen American from Minnesota, Dawson got her big break on America’s Got Talent in 2022 and has since signed with RCA Records. Her debut EP Learning (2023) showcases her thoughtful songwriting and cinematic soundscapes. Tracks like “Happy World” highlight her ability to mix old school vibes with modern pop.

Together, these artists created a night to remember, weaving heartfelt stories with engaging performances that really connected with the crowd.
