R&B sensation Kehlani brought her Crash World Tour to Hard Rock Live in Wheatland, CA, delivering an unforgettable sold out night of music and energy. The highly anticipated show, featuring opening acts Anycia and FLO, left fans amazed and craving more.
Atlanta rapper Anycia kicked off the evening with a brief but impactful 15-minute set. Anycia successfully connected with the crowd, particularly during her performance of the hit single “Back Outside”. British girl group FLO followed, showcasing why they’ve been named one of Rolling Stone’s 25 Artists of the Future. Their powerful vocals, coordinated choreography, and three-part harmonies evoked nostalgic vibes of iconic girl groups like Destiny’s Child and TLC. FLO’s renditions of “Cardboard Box,” “Check,” and their Missy Elliott collaboration “Fly Girl” set the perfect tone for the headliner.
As Kehlani took the stage, the energy in Hard Rock Live reached a fever pitch. Opening with “Next 2 U” from their latest album Crash, Kehlani immediately captivated the audience. The setlist masterfully blended new tracks with fan favorites, showcasing Kehlani’s impressive discography. Backed by a talented three-piece band and six dancers, Kehlani’s performance was a visual and auditory spectacle. The singer’s infectious vocals and smooth choreography kept the crowd engaged throughout the 90-minute set. Highlights included passionate renditions of “Distraction,” “Toxic,” and “Can I,” which had the entire venue singing along.
While the tour promotes Kehlani’s newest album Crash, the setlist offered a balanced mix of new material and beloved hits. Fans were treated to classics like “The Way” and “Water,” as well as deeper cuts from their mixtapes.
