Jhene Aiko’s “The Magic Hour Tour” at the Golden 1 Center was truly enchanting, blending emotional depth and healing with captivating performances. The concert’s ambiance was set by a stunning stage adorned with crystals and a large screen, creating a safe and visually pleasing environment. Aiko’s entrance, emerging from a lotus flower, was both graceful and captivating, setting the tone for an evening filled with emotional resonance.

The setlist featured 40 meticulously selected songs spanning Aiko’s career from 2011 to the present, highlighting the timeless and relatable nature of her music. Standout moments included the gratitude mantra “Alive & Well” and the crowd-pleaser “Triggered (Freestyle),” which had the entire arena singing along.

Supporting acts UMI and Tink also shone brightly. UMI, the first opener, captivated the audience with her short but memorable set. Her performance began with a meditative atmosphere, thanks to her soft-spoken voice in “wherever u r (meditation).” A particularly impressive moment was when UMI transitioned into singing in Japanese during “Sukidakara,” seamlessly switching between languages. Her visuals, featuring her name and meditative symbols, added to the experience. The crowd’s response to UMI was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting her joyful and passionate performance.

Tink’s high-energy set, featuring hits like “Bottom B*tch” and tracks from her latest album “Winter’s Diary 5,” added a vibrant dynamic to the evening.

The Golden 1 Center’s fairy-tale-inspired setup, combined with top-notch sound and lighting, enhanced the magical atmosphere. The audience’s engagement was electric, with fans dressed in themed outfits and responding enthusiastically to each performance.

Aiko’s ability to connect with her audience was evident as she moved around the stage, performing new songs like “Guidance” and “Sunshine” and engaging with fans directly. The concert underscored her artistry and the talents of her supporting acts, resulting in an unforgettable night of high energy and enchanting performances.
