Rapper Logic has officially confirmed the release date for his highly anticipated and long-awaited album “Ultra 85.” The project, which has been teased for years, is set to drop on August 9th, 2024.

“Ultra 85” is slated to be Logic’s ninth studio album and will serve as the conclusion to a saga that began with his 2017 album “Everybody”. The album has been shrouded in mystery, with Logic previously hinting it would be his final musical offering before retirement.

The journey to “Ultra 85” has been a winding one. Logic initially announced his retirement from music in 2020 with the release of “No Pressure,” but later reversed this decision. He then confirmed in September 2021 that “Ultra 85” would see a 2024 release.

Fans got their first taste of the album with the release of the lead single “Fear” on February 2nd, 2024, followed by “44ever” on April 19th.The album’s artwork, designed by Sam Spratt, was revealed earlier this year through an interactive website.

With “Ultra 85,” Logic aims to deliver a live, sample-free sound, drawing inspiration from artists like James Brown and Red Hot Chili Peppers. As anticipation builds, fans are eager to see how Logic will conclude this chapter of his musical career.
