West Coast rap star YG is taking his show on the road for an extensive North American tour. The Compton native has announced the “Just Re’d Up” tour, which will kick off on June 28th in Los Angeles in support of his upcoming album “Just Re’d Up 3.”
The 21-city trek will make stops in major markets like Oakland, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, New York, Dallas, Houston, and Phoenix before wrapping up in Hawaii on August 17th. Rising Cleveland rapper Doe Boy and YG’s longtime DJ Vision are slated as special guests for the entire tour run.
YG revealed the “Just Re’d Up 3” album is scheduled for release on July 3rd, just a few days after the tour launch. He has been teasing the project by sharing the cover art for the first two installments in his “Just Re’d Up” mixtape series on social media.
The tour news comes on the heels of YG dropping his first solo single of 2024 titled “Knocka” last month. The hard-hitting track’s music video featured luxury cars, women, and plenty of pyrotechnics as YG rapped about designer brands and making movies with women.
This will be YG’s first full-scale headlining tour since his “I Got Issues” album run in 2022, which spawned hits like “Scared Money” with J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo. He had planned to co-headline the “Str8 To The Klub Tour” with Tyga last year, but that run was ultimately canceled despite the two dropping a joint mixtape.
