Rising singer-songwriter Omar Apollo has announced he will be hitting the road this fall for his biggest headlining tour yet in support of his acclaimed debut album “Ivory.” The “God Said No” tour kicks off on September 12th in Boston and will make its way across North America before wrapping up on November 3rd in Los Angeles.
The 25-year-old genre-blending artist has been riding high since the release of “Ivory” in April 2022. The album debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart and received widespread critical praise, with many hailing Apollo as one of the brightest new voices in R&B and neo-soul. Singles like “Evergreen” and “Killing Me” showcased his smooth vocals and bilingual lyricism blending English and Spanish.
After spending the last year playing festivals and supporting acts like SZA and Raveena, the “God Said No” tour will give fans their first opportunity to see Apollo headline a full-scale production. He is expected to perform cuts from “Ivory” as well as earlier EPs like “Apolonio” and “Friends.” Known for his sensual and energetic live shows, attendees can anticipate an immersive audiovisual experience from the rising star.
Tickets for the “God Said No” tour are on sale at Ticketmaster.
