Last night in Sacramento, at the Golden 1 Center, Feid, the nine-time Latin GRAMMY nominee and multi-platinum Colombian artist, launched the first night of his eagerly awaited FERXXOCALIPSIS 2024 Tour. The tour features an impressive stage setup and a lineup of hits such as “LUNA,” “ALAKRAN,” and “Bubalu,” plus collaborations like “Perro Negro” with Bad Bunny, and other crowd favorites like “Yandel 150,” “Hey Mor,” and “Normal.”

The anticipation was palpable outside the venue, with fans donned in white and green, mirroring Feid’s signature colors, eagerly waiting to experience a night of unforgettable music.

The stage, innovatively shaped like an X and featuring two staircases, set the scene for a dramatic entrance. At 9 PM, the venue plunged into darkness, eliciting a roaring cheer of “FERRO” from the audience. As the opening notes of “Alakran” began to resonate throughout the arena, the powerful bass vibrated through the floors, making its presence felt even from the middle level where I was positioned with my camera.

The concert visuals were a spectacle in themselves, with separate screens on the staircases playing an animation that depicted a young boy alongside Feid. This narrative element added a personal touch to the show, culminating in a moment where Feid, depicted in the animation, extended his hand to help the boy. As they joined hands, the spotlight converged on the middle of the stairway, signaling Feid’s grand physical entrance on stage.

Feid’s energy was infectious as he performed “Alakran” and “50 Palos,” moving fluidly from one staircase to the other, ensuring an engaging performance that captivated every corner of the arena. By the time he transitioned into “Chimbita,” Feid had descended to the main stage level, bringing him closer to his fans. Here, he interacted directly with the crowd gathered at the edge of the stage, adding an intimate touch to the large-scale production.

Sporting his iconic shades and a backpack, Feid’s style was as distinctive as his sound.

Feid has already made significant strides this year, clinching the El Premio ASCAP Award for “Songwriter/Artist of the Year.” His track “LUNA” from the latest album ‘FERXXOCALIPSIS’ has gone 4x platinum and debuted at #5 on the Top Global Songs chart, currently ranking at #14 on Spotify’s Global Charts.

This month, Feid joined forces with Yandel on their joint EP ‘MANIFESTING 20-05,’ featuring heavy hitters like Tainy and Sky Rompiendo. The EP combines their smooth vocals with dynamic reggaeton rhythms across five tracks. Tonight, Feid will perform tracks “Fecha” and “Brickell” at the Latin American Music Awards, where he’s up for 12 nominations, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.

Feid’s performance not only showcased his musical prowess but also solidified his place as a powerhouse performer in the world of Latin music.

Feid’s FERXXOCALIPSIS Tour will continue globally, including new dates in Latin America, culminating in Colombia where he has sold out shows in Bogotá and Medellín and added a third date due to overwhelming demand.
