V101.1 Holiday Jam

For the past couple of years, tour promoter Pacific Concert Group and radio station V101.1 has brought together a yearly concert that includes artists performing their best throwback music in Sacramento, CA at Golden 1 Center. This past weekend, it was about that time of the year again to enjoy the best throwback music.

If you have been following us last year, you would know that our first arena show to cover was actually V101.1 Holiday Jam 2021. We had the opportunity to come out again and cover the event that included popular artists such as Ice Cube, Too $hort, Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, MC Magic, and Amanda Perez. There was supposed to be another act included from group Bone Thugs n Harmony, however, they have had to cancel due to an unexpected death in the family.

Although each artist did not have a full set and performed for about 15 minutes, they made the most of it and got the audience off their seats on each set

It went from Amanda Perez going into the front pit while singing Candy Kisses, to MC Magic bringing the iconic auto tune machine on stage performing his top hits and tossing roses into the audience, Warren G lighting up a joint performing Mary Jane, Too $hort expressing his love to Sacramento, and Ice Cube keeping it a “Gangsta Party”.
