Bad Bunny has made history for being the first Latin artist to win VMA Artist of The Year. Benito sung with his dancers surrounding him for a picture-perfect choreography against a backdrop of the Puerto Rican and Dominican flags. The fans went wild as Carmelo Anthony presented him with the award after which he flung his sunglasses into the spectators.

During the opening of his performance of “Tit Me Preguntó,” the Puerto Rican heartthrob carried out a soon-to-be bride before singing lyrics about having “muchas novias” as images of the enormous crowd flashed onscreen.

“I don’t have the words to describe what I’m feeling. The pride I’m feeling to be at Yankee Stadium accepting this award,” said Bad Bunny, completely in Spanish. “I always knew from the start that I could become the biggest stars without having to change my culture or my language.”

He ended, ““I’m Benito Antonio Martinez. From Puerto Rico to the entire world.”

Bad Bunny is set to visit the Bay Area in a couple weeks as part of his ‘Worlds Hottest Tour’.
